Halloween

We sure have enjoyed Halloween and the few weeks leading up to it. Mike loves it thus the boys love it also. As soon as the Halloween things pop up at the different stores they like to go from store to store to see all the scary things. There are no cute smiling ghosts at our house and if so it just hasn't been sighted by Mike and disposed of. Instead we have things like a candle skeleton that when you light it and it melts blood comes out of it's eyes and mouth. There is nothing better than that right? I think we had some pretty good costumes this year. Jamen was a grave reaper, Wiley was a swat agent, Noah was a pirate, and Laila was Tinker Bell.

The pumpkins we carved this year were from our garden. The boys had a great time helping Mike dig out all the pumpkin guts. By the time we were finished my kitchen had pumpkin every where. The joys of carving pumpkins of that size. We had a school party, a trunker treat party at the church and had a party of our own on Sunday. The boys loved every minute of it and Laila just loved all the candy. She actually liked her costume and when I showed her the wings she said, "ahhhh." It was very cute. She surprisingly really likes girly things. We had some very wired kids for a few days. It is nice to have things back to normal. Maybe not normal but at least normal to us.

That pumkin is huge. That's awesome. The kids are getting so big, can't wait to see them this next year.
