I love that we have a big yard for the kids to play in. There is something about them running barefoot through the grass that makes me smile. We had a great game of soccer the other night. It is fun as they get older and we can actually have a game. I didn't play soccer growing up. I think it just wasn't as big in Idaho. As I learn more and play more I wish I had. I like how active and physical it is. I guess I will have to experience that sport vicariously through my children with a side game here and there in the Barker backyard.
