We had a good Labor Day. It is always nice when Mike has an extra day off. It is as if we had a true two day weekend. The boys have been wanting to go fishing for a long time now. We went and checked about a lake that is near but there wasn't much of a bank access so we headed back to our favorite location by Barb's and Kyle's house. The boys really don't care where we go, they just want to catch fish. We caught fish until all of our worms were gone and then we headed back home for a great BBQ. It was a great day hanging out as a family and getting to spend time with Mike. It is outings like this that I understand more and more that as girly as Laila likes to be sometimes she is a good mix of loving princesses and dollies but a little scrub, playing in the dirt with worms type of girl. I love that.
