Spring Soccer

This year Mike coached Laila's soccer team with Dylan Astle and then also coached Noah and Wiley's team.  I got to coach Rudy's team with Teisha Astle.  It was a lot of soccer.  We had some good teams and Laila's team as well as the boy's team won the championships at the end of the season.  Rudy came out of his shell and played really well.  He scored quite a few goals and was playing some good defense as well.  Wiley had his last season in Parks and Rec and ended on a high note with many goals throughout the season.  He aged out and it was sad to see this era end for him.  Noah started to play defense this season and didn't let much past him.  He plays so naturally and just seems to be in the right place at the right time.  Laila kind of came out of her shellas well and played aggressively this season.  She is getting some power on her kicks and was very fun to watch.  It always helps when your dad is the best coach in the league and knows just what to do to get kids excited about playing.
