Julian is Here!

When we got the call to take James in June they decided to leave his little brother Julian with the current Foster family that both the boys were at.  I thought it was a bad idea to split the boys up especially beacause they had been the only constant since they were taken into custody.  All 5 of the kids spilt into different home.  The older boy in a home, the two girls in a home and then James and Julian in a home.  The first placement for the boys didn't work out and that is when they moved to Jan and Henry's house.  As James got older Jan realized that she was over her head with him.  He was too fast and too strong for her let alone a huge handful with tantrums and misbehavior.  As we settled with James which was very hard, we kept feeling like we should really try to get Julian here with us and James. We felt it would help James with some of his behaviors and they could be back together.  We talked with both the Casa worker as well as the caseworker over and over about the importance of these boys being together.  At long last they were able to make it happen and 5 months after we had gotten James Julian came our way. He is a cute little fun boy and it really did help James with some of his behaviors.  James is very protective and loving to Julian just like a big brother should be.
