This was a Christmas filled with a lot of excitement. My mom was able to come spend the holidays with us. We love it when she gets to be with us and share our traditions. We of course had a visit from our spy elf Nippy. He left some fun things in the kitchen and some breakfast for the kids. The kids were sledding on Christmas Eve and Laila some how smashed into Noah knocking her tooth out and giving her a fat lip. We had our Fondue for Christmas Eve and Manburgers for Christmas day. We had the boys doing the notorious short hick up in the name of their Uncle B, lots of waiting and then waiting some more on Christmas morning while dad finds his socks, builds a fire ect. Lots of awesome gifts, and being together as a family. Mike had planned for some time off during the holidays but as it always seems to play out something always happens and he has to work. This Christmas a sweet girl was abducted right off the street walking home from school. Luckily the monster let her go but they needed to catch the bad guy and fast. Mike spent all of his days and nights tracking him down but in the end they caught him and put him behind bars right where he belongs. It can be frustrating at times but this very job makes it possible to have amazing Christmas' just like this and the world is a better safer place because Mike is willing to do a job that requires so much.
