Summer 2014

I think this might have been the fastest summer yet.  We had so many things packed into it that before I knew it, it was over.  We had the best time though.  The kids were all very fun and we really enjoyed our time together.  It was a huge bummer when it was over and they had to all go back to school.  I will never be able to remember all that we did but here is a few things that I can remember.
We had swimming lessons the first three weeks.  The kids are really improving and it is fun to have them very confident in the water.  We just have some work for Laila and Rudy to do now.  We also went crawdad catching quit a few times.  The kids really enjoy that.  It is dirty and messy and they all get wet but that is probably what makes it so fun to them.  One of the days we went the kids brought some of the crawdads home. They had decided that they would cook them up and eat them.  Instead they put them in the kiddie pool and then banded them all and gave them names.  They lived for like three weeks.  I couldn't believe it.  We spent alot I mean alot of time in our pool.  The kids went in almost everyday.  They would pretty much wake up, put their swim suit on and then at night finally take it off.  We went to the beach a few times.  The kids always love that.  They can play for hours in the water and then when they get tired of that they dig in the sand.  I love to see how happy they are there.  It is always hard to leave after such great days there.  There was also alot of time jumping on the trampoline and working in the garden.  It was just so fun.  We loved every minute of it.
