Horrible Winter

This winter has been crazy.  The whole time it has been super cold, so cold that the kids could not even go out and enjoy the snow.  Okay maybe once or twice.  But there has been almost record amounts of snow yet too cold to play in it.    Our pipes have frozen twice and it was miserable trying to thaw them out.  We burned through a crap load of wood to keep from freezing to death.  In short it has been just plain horrible and I really need it to be spring now.  There have been other March's since we moved here where I had to mow the grass already and today it barely hit 40 in April. Bring on the spring already!!
