Bringing in the New Year

Do you have those people in your lives that you can have over and not worry about what to do, say etc?  The Kintner's are those people for us.  They came over for New Years Eve to celebrate and we had nothing planned for the whole night.  We literally sat around and talked the entire time.  There were no awkward silences or worrying about if they were bored or having a good time.  There is something awesome about feeling that comfortable.

New Years Eve is always exciting for us.  It is one of Mike's favorite holidays.  Life can be so busy and crazy that we really do enjoy just hanging out and being together.  We eat a ton of crap and watch movies or just hang out.  All the kids made it until midnight this year.  They are all getting too old and can tell time so there is no telling them it is midnight at like 9:00.  The kids spent hours playing with glow in the dark sticks.  They were the ones you can build into things.  It sure was a great night.  It is a good time to reflect on our lives and the things we are doing well with and the things that we need to improve.  I have a lot to do in 2013.
