It amazes me how much kids learn in first grade. They go from sounding out words, barely writing and 25 sight words in kindergarten to reading large books, writing in complete sentences and 20 spelling words a week in first grade. Wiley has done so well this year. It has been fun to watch him change and improve so much. I can't write anything without him reading it and I love to find him somewhere with a book reading to his siblings.
