We sure had a nice Christmas season this year. I think it was a bit different because we decided to get jars for the kids that they could put candy in every time they did something nice for someone. It was amazing the difference it was when our kids were thinking about each other all day. I just love how the kid's excitement just radiates from them. I will be super sad when they don't believe in Santa anymore. It makes it so magical. The month of December flew by but we did get to have lots of fun while it lasted. We got to see the Zoo lights this year with the Astle Family, we tried to read a Christmas story everyday of the month, had the ward Christmas party, Mike's work party, had a great wing dinner at the Kintner's, we had our second annual bake off(peanut butter cookies) and enjoyed some lazy days with Mike. Everyone got spoiled and got at least one thing they really wanted.
Wiley and Noah asked for a Wii. They really really wanted one. We had already decided we were going to get one this year. Since Christmas landed on a Sunday we had to be to church by 9. We decided to only do Santa gifts before and everything else after. As we started to open presents the boys started getting Wii games. We kept telling them that they were just going to have to play them at the Kintner's house. After we opened the presents from Santa there was still no Wii. We got ready for church and on the way there Wiley said that maybe we had got them one since Santa had not. Jamen reminded him that we were too cheap to buy one of those and that they would just have to save their money to get one. That made me laugh. After church we opened up all the presents and still no Wii. The boys were trying to be good sports about it and be grateful for all that they got but they were disappointed. Mike had already set the Wii up downstairs. We told them they needed to get some wood for the fire and so they went downstair. Their reaction was priceless when they finally spotted it. Wiley was jumping off everything, jumping up and down and Noah was doing flips all over the ground. They sure love it. They would play it all day if I didn't have the 30 minutes a day rule.
The only sad part is that we have to wait a whole year to have all the fun all over again.

haha...love the Wii discovery method!! it looks like laila received pretty, pretty princess. have any of the brothers volunteered to play that with her?? :0)
