4th of July

We had a great 4th. The Grant's invited us over for a BBQ, games and fireworks. There were several families from our ward there. The kids had a great time. The food was really good and the games were fun. There is something about the 4th. I love to watch the kids stare at the fireworks. There is something magical about it. For about an hour there is almost complete silence. It reminds me of that part on the movie Sandlot, when the boys are playing baseball and the fireworks start. Suddenly the game is over and every head is turned up to the sky with a look of awe on their faces.
We sure are lucky to live in the greatest country in the world. I am so grateful to all the people that serve to keep it that way. They truly are heroes.
