So I guess we needed a new pet. Having a two turtles and a snake just wasn't enough. The boys decided that Mike needed a scorpion for his birthday. They were so excited about it that I just couldn't say no. The new member of the Barker Family is General Tso. I even held him. It was weird that I was much more nervous to hold our spider than the scorpion. He's a good addition in my eyes because all you have to do is throw a cricket in his cage every couple of days. I'm a fan of the low maintenance pets. We will see how long he survives the Barker chaos.

That is great. I have escaped pets because I always have the "we have to move" excuse.
